Both terminals at this airport are interconnected to the post-security and gate areas with 29 boarding gates and allow access to the curbside from Airport Drive, a road that encircles the terminal’s parking lot. Terminal 1, on the airport’s west side, features baggage claim areas, check-in, and pre-security, including gates 1 to 17 while Terminal 2 includes gates 20 to 32. Terminal 2 deals with domestic flights only and is portioned into 2 sections: security checkpoints with departure/ boarding gates and check-in in other sections. The access to Terminal 2 is through the interconnected walkways close to the gate 4. Plus, the departure concourse of Terminal 2 comprises thirteen boarding gates and several eateries.

Oakland International Airport provides 4 parking options if passengers arrive at the airport by their vehicle. Make sure to reserve your spot beforehand.

  • Hourly Parking:

  • Daily Parking:

The Daily Parking area is almost five to eight minutes away from terminals and offers special space needs and a complimentary electrical charging vehicle station.

Ground Transportation Options

California Oakland Airport can easily be accessed through 98th Avenue or Hegenberger Road from I-880 which is set within 2 miles. Bay Area Rapid Transit, abbreviated as BART, from the station of this airport is also available or passengers can use vehicles that are available on peak days for every 5 minutes.
